Good job on the squids they can be skittish or sometime curious and swim to your camera. Assume shooting down you were snorkeling rather than diving ?

Yes, we dont dive. Havent been bitten by that 'bug' yet. But we DO really enjoy the snorkeling, especially when we find a place right off the beach. Jamaica off of Runaway Bay, has a reef that runs for miles and you can snorkel right out to it and follw it. It was very beautiful and each time we went out saw many different fish and 'critters'.

If you like snorkeling , you really should consider a "resort dive" they put you thru a couple hours of classroom and a swinging pool, then take you in shallow ocean 15 to 30 feet, hang on an anchor line, and if your comfortable , swim around and experience the dive realm. Cost about $100 , but a treat well worth it. But if you get hooked on the experience, you will be looking for a local dive shop to get certified.
