That is a great combination. It does look like it’ll be a fun lens. Great stuff, and I like those closeups.

Thanks Greg, I'm looking forward toto playing with it once this Hurricane passes....even though its weatherproof, don't plan on testing it...

I look on the “weatherproof’ thing with cameras and lenses like I do locks—locks keep honest people honest. To me, weatherproof merely means don’t drop it in the ocean and don’t stand out in the rain too long. That’s a nice kit though.

I agree but with the OM-1, the weather capability makes it great in a pinch and if you're caught in bad weather, more like an umbrella, not a dry suit...I usually don't plan to shoot in a driving rainstorm but things like mist, fog, sudden changes in temp, etc...every little bit helps.....Cheers
