OK
Too many "Cookie Monsters' and/or home bakers out there. I will post this now and go read in the lounge chair.

Yes, it is part of a Chocolate Chip Cookie.
But one with identity problems. It self-identified as a birthday cake.
Since middle school, our oldest referred to my homemade chocolate chip cookies (4"-6") as "Chocolate Chip Pancakes". So for his 45th I made him a Chocolate Chip Birthday Cookie - yes that is a 9" pie pan it is filling. And to get it out of the pan to eat, it got sliced just like a pie.

I woke up and remembered it was his birthday. No cake mix in the house, but I had a book of Krustez Deluxe Cookie mix and the things needed to make chocolate chip cookies "Acapulco Style" (with vanilla and dark brown sugar added). It got the seal of approval from Michael and the family, not one bite made it to the next day.

It didn't even make it to the end of the day. But I made him a dozen of my "normal" size cookies as a present and a dozen for the family. A few of those made it to the next day, one got dunked in hot coffee as part of my breakfast.

Robert, you made me hungry. It is just about dinner time. My wife just got home and decided to take a nap.
Now I have to figure out how to turn on the oven or wait till she wakes up. Hang on to find out how I resolved this dilemma.

OK br Too many "Cookie Monsters' and/or home ... (show quote)

There’s a restaurant here in downtown Huntington called BJ’s Pizza that makes a desert named ‘Pizookie’. Just add some vanilla ice cream to your warm cookie and you have it!
