Nikon and T/Cs

Yesterday "LeeinNC" asked about T/Cs that are appropriate for Nikon lenses. Farther down the post "Bridges" suggested Kenko's 300 PRO 1.4 T/C as a fix. I recently bought a new (to me) Nikkor 300mm F/4 and wanted a T/C as well, but, of course, Nikon is backlogged for T/C orders so I thought I would try Bridges suggestion. I ordered a T/C from Amazon yesterday, got the T/C today and this is one of my first trial pics. I'm pleased with the results.

While waiting for a Nikon 1.4TC, I did use the Kenko 1.4x (borrowed from a friend). Definitely can get useable pics with it. I do wonder sometimes if one is better off just cropping then using a TC.
PS. I ended up buying a used Nikon 1.4TC (they periodically pop up on the used sites).
