Side of the Road...
Honestly I had my dog with me and a heavy camera bag that I could not leave in a Jeep with the top down. There is a short scramble with ropes down to the river bed where this falls should be shot from, the view from the bottom is very different as a second falls comes into view and it is just gorgeous. As it was I had to settle shooting from an observation deck above the falls. I processed in B&W because the leaves where just too distracting in color and the wet rock was black anyway. I will be back to these falls again and will definitely only have my camera alone to have to worry about carrying down to the river bed and shoot this beauty again.

No, but I will have to look Connestee falls up because I live less than 20 miles west of Brevard, this is Soco just outside of Cherokee.
Green leaves too distracting??? Oookaay! I like the color in my life. But, still, a pretty nice shot!
Excellent, the black and white really work.

I'm guessing he was more interested in getting a clear shot of the falls. I don't think it has anything to do with not having color in his life.

Here the image is in color, personally I like the B&W better, I think that the leaves detract from the falls.
I am normally a fan of natural-looking water, but this one of yours is beautiful. It’s probably the best slow speed water shot that I have seen. Congratulations--my favorite shot of the day!
