Lakes District Image of Sunlight Mtn with Storm Clouds

The light in the Lakes District in England was constantly changing as we hiked. The threat of rain was omnipresent, but materialized only once, and then a mere drizzle. The light could go from flat to amazing in the blink of an eye.

Please download for detail appreciation. The Z6II with the 24-70 VRs lens is truly a photographer's dream.

I was going to try to organize my images by day and/or location for posting, but time constraints precluded my strategy.

Thanks for posting these “Lake District” images. As an old literature major, they bring to memore meaning to a lot of poems from the Lake District authors.

Thanks, John. I, too, was a literature major.

A cracking shot! Right time, right place, the Lake District can really keep you on your toes trying to catch the light. You got this one perfectly!
