This is an update to a post I made to the photo gallery. I didn't know there was a pet section. This is our rescue pup, CoCo. We rescued her in Albuquerque, N.M. when she was 6 weeks old. She is now 9 months old and a very different pup. She was in bad shape as a rescue, terrified of everyone and everything. She has come a long way, with a ways to go yet.
My wife calls her CoCo, I call her bright eyes. She responds to both equally. She is a terror on wheels, chewing on everything she can get her teeth into, and driving us crazy! She is also the smartest, prettiest, fastest and sweetest puppy on the planet!

Coco is a little beauty queen and so blessed to be given a good, loving home. She'll have all these UHH aunts and uncles sending her hugs and kisses, but don't spoil her. NO, NO never. LOL. Of course I'm kidding and you already have.
Rescues always seem to know and appreciate what you have done for them and they make the best companions.

No, never spoiled and I'll stand by that! I always wonder what she's thinking about when she looks off into the distance like that last photo. But she is always smiling when she looks at us.

And that little white tipped tail is going a mile a minute!!

Coco is a real cutey. She is so fortunate to have a forever home with you. Hopefully, you will have a RV still intact by the time she settles down a bit! Your photos show her great personality.

Good morning Retired CPO, I'm so glad you stopped over in this forum, we love to see all the beautiful pets and Coco is a little cutie. Rescue are wonderful and I think they know when we are trying to help them and give them a good life. My Penny was a throw away dog, someone didn't want her, she ended up in my bosses yard and the rest is history. I feel whoever decided they didn't want her lost out on a wonderful little girl, but she is a blessing to me, just as Coco has been to you. Please keep posting and give Coco an extra hug from me and welcome to the Pampered Pets Corner ♥

Thanks very much Debbi. I would like to meet the one/s responsible for her condition when we found her, but it's probably best that I won't.
She was really a mess when we got her, terrified of everyone and everything. Shivering like an Aspen leaf in the wind. She has a way to go yet, but she is leaps and bounds better now!
She is very smart, I don't know if that is an advantage or not, coming from where she was, but it's just another example of what can be lost when an animal is abused.
