It is taking me a while to learn my new Canon R7 due to my leg acting up and the recent hot weather.

I decided to try portraits of our two dogs inside the family room.

1. Tara - Or, as her license papers say, Terror - My wife said there wasn't room on the form for "Little Holy Terror"*. If I get another dog, I go to get the papers.
*She was just a baby and wanted to PLAY, the "stick in the mud" cats wanted to nap, so they took refuge on top of the bookshelves.
Canon R7, RF 18-150 @ 118, 1/320 @ f/8, ISO-5000
hand held light from glass door to left rear

2. Toby - My wife's golden Shih Zhu - with the haircut she got him during the 100+ days two weeks ago.
Canon R7, RF 18-150 @ 59, 1/160 @ f/7.1, ISO-6400
hand held light from the glass door behind me, slightly to my left

3. Toby in warm afternoon Spring sunlight just before his first haircut of the summer. Just to prove he is really a Shih Zhu.
Canon 6D, Canon EF 70-300 @ 300, 1/800 @ f/10, ISO-800 - mid-June at about 7 PM hand held light from behind me

4. Both in position to help me watch TV. Yes, it is a little hard to watch a TV above you in the entertainment counsel. But that is OK, their way of helping is to
sleep between the lounge chair and TV while I watch.
Canon 5DIV, Canon 24-105 f/4 L @ 105, 1/13 @ f/4, ISO-2000 hand held by ceiling lights in the family room

OK, Mr Murphy strikes again.

Three tries and #1 an #2 the download didn't work. I think I will just take a shower and watch TV for a while before I fall asleep.

Fantastic set!!!
It's funny what dogs watch on TV, The other day Murphy watched the Queens funeral procession into The Abby until the her casket was placed on the stand and the procession was out of sight!!

Thank you
However, on subjects at a distance motion blur is a problem I still need more practice getting around.

Thanks very much.
Mine hardly ever watch the TV, but they listen to the music when I put on one of the cable music channels.

Nice set Robert. R7 is a nice camera. We've sold several of them and even more of the R10

Thanks
I actually think they should have given the R7 an upgraded 24MP sensor. I have trouble with motion blur etc. from those tiny pixels when doing birds in anything but bright sunlight. Maybe I will catch on and find it is just some bad habit of mine.

For birds I am used to the 20MP of my 7DII and the 24MP of my 80D. I have to make an effort to get motion blur on those.
