It's such a simple, rather boring object, but...
There is just something about this photo that makes you want to look... And look... And look some more. Then tomorrow, come back and look again. Your photo kind if sticks in your mind. I guess that's what makes a good photo.

Celtis, I appreciate three things:
1. You liked the photo enough to deal with it.
2. You didn't hijack the post, which usually irritates me greatly when I see it done (even if it isn't my post).
3. You suggested a very really easy way to perhaps dramatically improve it.
Never thought I would be saying this, but please feel free to post your B/W edit (remember, I invited people to post any photos they also were ambivalent about, so this is not much of a stretch). I have not really experimented much with B/W (not since Kodak Tri-X 400 anyway) so I would like to see it. High contrast might be an additional even more dramatic tweak.

that is it exactly IT ! Every time I went through some thumbnails to consider posting something, I would always bring that one up, even though I knew in the end I would
pass over it. I took it to be because it was pretty powerful standing under that thing and looking up there and imagine being up there on top. But I'm the only one that can feel that.
So finally I just got tired of wrestling with it, and decided I would just post it and get it over with. The response has been pretty surprising.
