Seems odd that the greens are darker with the Blue filter than with the Red filter...

Well! I guess there's more yellow in the greens than I expected! So the blue filter worked properly.

Sure! I got HedgeCam 2 from Google PlayStore. Based on the Open Camera app, it's free, but donations are accepted. The following is from notes I make for all my camera apps. (I'm somewhat of a collector 😊)

Thanks so much for the feedback. It doesn't look like it's available for the IPhone.

Nice B&W’s. #1 seems the better of the two. I like what you did there. Thanks for sharing.

Too bad. Maybe there's a work-alike available?

You're quite welcome! I was going through the filters (RGBYO) and while I liked the red, the blue being even darker than the red was a bit of a shock – blue filters are "supposed" to make green lighter! It took me a while to realize that my brain said (grass == green) was not what was really there – a yellowish green.

It’s always fun to play around with stuff like that, even if it ends up not being what you expected. I preferred the first B&W shot because I felt that the filter darkened the trees too much, reducing a lot of detail. I wonder if you could get some of the effect of #2 without the over darkening of the trees, by playing with the contrast, shadows and black point controls.
