I have been using One Drive for over 6 years....
For sharing a file I just upload it to one drive once it is completed I click the file and select Share...I copy the share link and I send it via email. It is simple for me....not had a problem...

I never use it, in fact I deleted it from my PC just yesterday...I like to choose what happens to my pics and where they go...

I use it like DropBox and Google Drive. If I have to send large files to someone, that's what I use. I'm not going to pay for it, though. "Ask Leo" had a good point. He's heard from people who used DB as a backup. When their computer went bad, they lost access to all their backups. I forget the details, but it was all gone. If I can pick up and carry by backups, they aren't backups.
