Great view! We visited the church on the hill several years ago where after the service everyone sang "God Save the Queen" - it was quite the experience for this Colonist!

Thank you Sue. The church is quite a prominent landmark in the town and even when you look over from Banff.

Sometimes when colour gets out of the way it makes it easier for other things to catch our attention, like storytelling, action, shapes, textures, mood, atmosphere or just an undefinable "look". Plus for some there's the nostalgia or historic side to B&W. As well as being a suitable scene for B&W, I was hoping that my posted shot had a timeless look to it. It won't be that different from shots that you'd see in history books (apart from the antenna on the boats ).
