I got tired of my gas powered lawn mower. When the season came I would pull till my arm would fall off. Removing the spark plug was a nightmare and a half. I rarely found the right size right away. Still it wouldn’t go. Then the gasoline in the carburetor had turned to shellac. A month and a half later, she worked for a little. Had weeds all over the place. Then I bought a battery operated. It works!

The way of the future. Thanks for being eco friendly.
How long does it run before charging or having to put in another fully charged battery.

I commend you!! Here are the EPA estimates for gas mowers: 1: gasoline mowers produce 11 times as much pollution as a new car; 2. It is estimated that 17 million gallons of gasoline is spilled each year, just filling lawn mowers; 3. And according to the government of Canada, lawnmowers emit 106 pounds of greenhouse gases in one season.

And what is the environmental impact of electric mowers? This should include the impact of making and recycling batteries, of manufacturing batteries in China (the primary source of lithium), the impact of generating more electricity for charging out of what, wind farms, solar panels or combustion power generation? Electric/battery power may have advantages but I have yet to see a fair comparison.

No one stops to think about where the power come from to recharge batteries. How much it costs in non renewable, scarce, rare materials that scar the earth when mined to build more batteries...Go Nuclear Power!!!

Nice mower and no maintenance like a gas one! When mine dies, I go wit an electric one. I have a EGO 56v electric string trimmer and it’s great!
