I thought that I would put up a Topic that has not had a lot of play here or any where else. Lets see some of the Old Wagons of the prairies and it don't really matter the brand or type. My wife and I have just bought a new hobby for the winter like I really needed one but we bought an old Studebaker Farm Wagon and over the winter I will be rebuilding it hopefully to almost mint shape. So all of you folks who have yard show pieces feel free to post them. Now there are quite a few Farm wagons from makers such as Studebaker, Case, John Deer, just to name a few if you don't know who made it post it anyway. Maybe some of the different types like Hearses (Known as the Boot Hill Express) I have never seen one in person but if someone should have one I would love to see a picture of it, it may be a grain wagon or maybe an old ore wagon out of the old mining districts who knows lets start posting what ever you or even your neighbor has maybe out of a museum in your home town what ever every thing goes.

It is going to be a ball, but I wonder if in the end if there may be more Tape than repair. And I will keep a log of the repair and post it here as it progresses. Any way If any of you have any old wagons or know where there are any, snap a few shots and post them here I like looking at them and I am pretty sure that others will as well.

Well some what,I think that the difference is in name only. I think that we are looking at what they call a farm wagon and for the most part other than name they are put together the same. Now if we step up a step to things like Stage Coaches then there was a world of difference in building and suspensions, but farm wagons were real basic at best. Thanks for the picture sleepy51 it is a great add to the topic.

Thanks for the pictures any one else who has pictures go ahead and add them I may have started this topic but it is for all of you who love the movement west and what it took to do it once again I can't thank you enough Sleepy51 for the add to the topic.

I was on the way out of Hot Springs today and I stopped at a place with a name that is something like Kemo Saby it is a camp ground but they also sell a gambit of other things and I was looking at several of their wagons but this is one that caught my attention most I guess one could call it a roach coach of the prairie but it was outfitted for a chuck wagon or cook wagon they were used to follow the herd during round up and I would think that they also may have been used when people migrated west.

Side view and this one is up for sale.
