Cryptomining no longer profitable - good news for GPU/graphic card buyers

Cryptomining has never been for the home/hobbyist. I have a friend who several years ago jumped into cryptomining. One thing he didn't consider in addition to needing a strong GPU processor, was the cooling requirement. It's not for nothing that some of the major cryptominers are located in Finland and other Scandinavian countries: They have plenty of cold water to aid them in their work.

After all the time, money and work he put into it, I remember when he got his first "payoff." Fifteen cents.
