Thank you.
I like #1 for the food inside.
It was an honest-to-goodness diner. My lunch was the stuffed cabbage, done the old fashioned way. Each stuffed cabbage roll was the size of an extra,extra-large potato I got two of them, while I was able to eat only one. Cole slaw done the farm way as the side. It was delicious. My mouth is just watering thinking about the meal. In the area I live in now, the last diner shut down when Covid-19 struck. But it was scheduled to shut down anyway because the land was bought out from under it.
Workers are in the process of bringing the theater back. I do not know how much will reflect the theater of old. From the outside it looked like the scenery drop was pushed up from the basement floor. Most theaters now have the scenery drops come down from the 2nd story level (or higher).
The diner and the theater are next door neighbors.
I enjoyed doing the photograph of the door because it reminded me of the many old theaters that I have seen through the decades. They do drop out of sight rather quickly these days in the US.
Again, thanks for the viewing and comment.
Which "Washington" in New Jersey is this one? (looks like the village one in southern Warren County, which is surrounded by the Town of Washington, which is adjacent to Washington, Morris County...and that's just three of the six in New Jersey)
...and what's up with the temperature on the sign? Nine degrees Fahrenheit and there's leaves on the trees?
(Like the picture, though)

It is Warren County, NJ 57.
http://cinematreasures.org/theaters/6644 This is the theater on NJ 57 with the Diner to the back around on the left. I have no idea as for the temperature indicator. Would you believe it snowed on Sept. 7, 2022
My SO says it may have been "69" Fahrenheit.
Who were the six Washington's? George, Martha, Dinah, Bryan, Irwing--no, that was a last name...
