Well it’s that time again. Free Sunday has arrived and you are invited to post any leftovers from previous challenges on this thread or any new creations you think we will enjoy. I’ll get it started with some of this and some of that.

Hunter, an endurance champ. Think marathon running, he has completed over 1000 miles of competition.
50 miles in under 12 hours or 100 miles in under 24 hours. Yes there are mandatory breaks and vet checks, but no rider wellness checks.

pg. 5

While on a recent photo junket to my favorite auto graveyard, I looked down as I was trekking through the mud. I saw this
tattered and moldy old doll reaching up to me seeming to be begging to be lifted out
of the mud. I did, and turned and spotted an old, beaten and broken school bus being overtaken by the virulent oxidative process. Not knowing what to do, I trudged in the direction of the bus trying to think of something to do with that old doll, and without warning, the doll suddenly came to life, cackled, and jumped out of my arms leaping through the bus window, but unfortunately became lodged in the broken glass. She turned, struggled to free herself, and realizing that she was trapped, reached out and screamed for me to free
her. Instead, I reached for my camera to document this bizarre occurrence, realizing
that my friends at Ugly Hedgehog would never
believe me. I captured my money shot, quickly turned and strode through the mud to my car as her desperate screams faded into the noise of the wind whistling through the pine trees above my head. After returning home I went into a mild depression for abandoning that thing trapped in the broken glass. I contacted my family physician for a referral to a competent psychiatrist to commit me to an institution with adequately padded walls. I ask all Ugly Hedgehog members to include me in their prayers for a speedy healing and total recovery from my mental despair.

That doll is enough to scare anyone into hysterical fits - neat image, though!

Thought tomatoes would do okay. Only planted a week late (2nd week of June). But... After getting about 2 - 2 1/2 feet tall, one night deer came in and chomped off the top foot or so. They're very late (these were taken yesterday) but have come back nicely.
And then.... These are our cucumbers. Only had about 5 or 6 that are close to the usual size. I finally pulled most up but you never know.
