I discovered a paper that I think would be an awesome material for some fine art use. Lakota paper from Nepal.
It is raw, has an amazing texture, and I want to try a printing on it. Has anyone tried to use this, or better yet what printer could work best? Any suggestions?
I hadn't heard of it, so I Googled it. It's Lokta, not Lakota, and it says it will work in inkjet printers. I didn't see anything about printing profiles available for it, so you probably have to experiment.

You didn't say what printer you have, so it is hard to say whether or not you could use that paper. If you have a printer that uses pigment ink like my Epson SC-P900 you could print on that paper.
Good to know your printer can handle this paper. Thank you for the input.
I currently have an older Epson, and an older Canon, both of which are ok, but this paper will not feed. So… since I no longer have a dedicated photo printer, I now have serious GAS! Right now I am looking into your Epson, and the Canon PROGRAF PRO-300. I’ve always leaned to Epson, but that S900 is right at the max of my budget.
Do you have a link for this paper?

The Canon PRO 300 is a brilliant printer. Would also recommend the Canon Professional Print and Layout free software. Lots of reviews available online.
