Various shuttle speeds so you can enjoy them..Thx
Very nice variety of looks!
Your trajectory suggests you'll be up in Hudson Bay photographing polar bears sometime soon. Amirite?
Beautiful study in exposures. What kind of shutter speeds did it take to capture all of that mist?

jrvinson45,
The mist from the last two pictures is coming from the early morning fog. The mist from earlier pictures is coming from the huge amount of water falling down the falls - It is not the shuttle speed effect - the shuttle speed is being used to create the softness of the falls (cotton like) and the smoothness of the water surface. For any regular waterfalls you can adjust shuttle speed somewhere from 1/3s - 1s, depending on the amount of water and the height of the falls. Just play around then you will see the effect of the shuttle speed on waterfalls. This waterfalls is huge and the amount of the water falling down is gigantic so you can slow down much as you want (1s-15s).
Best regards
