Great series! The YA-10's were built twenty miles from my home and my Dad worked at Fairchild after WW2. Closure of the plant in the mid-eighties was the first of several big blows to our local manufacturing sector. Many still remain, but greatly downsized. We have to drive several hours to get to an airshow from here, so your shots are a good fill in for the real thing (and a lot cooler, I'd bet).

Some fine and nicely done photographs of air show aircraft. You have the technique down for a good exposure.

Excellent photos. I shoot several hundred photos at Oshkosh each year and don’t get the same results. The close ups are really good.

That is not a YA-10 it's an A10, there was only one ever built and it passed the flight testing but was cancelled before any others were modifications.

But they were all called "Warthogs" or "Tank Killers", right??
