Thank you, always fun to photograph these, some of the riders in these shows are only about 8 yrs. of age, but one would not know it with some of the riding skills that they have.

Shooting jumpers is nerve-wracking. Getting exactly the right moment is critical, and sometimes one's finger jumps the gun and sometimes delays half a second! I used to decry the horrid backgrounds in pictures like these. I actually had one show manager listen to me when he looked at my pictures of a previous show and changed the set-up to allow better backgrounds in the images.

Agreed, I know the backgrounds are horrible, I do try my best to get in a spot where the background is better, but this is a small local arena which has bleachers for the guest's, but they are all parents's and Grandparent's and they all like to be arena side to view, and I dont blame them I would be doing the same, but they love the pictures, maybe someday I'll learn how to remove them from the photos....lol
