I'm from Memphis and totally get the Egyptian theme not minding the hieroglyphics and neck decoration but the striped sleeves kicks the uniforms into this ugly discussion. It makes the uniforms look like bumble bees wearing a white smock! Now I live in the Lehigh Valley so my local teams get two votes on the list! Those Iron Pig uniforms were totally ridiculous and I have no idea what that was supposed to represent. As far as I know the tux wasn't invented here or anything like that!
