America's green, carbon neutral energy in action or.....maybe inaction. West Virginia Coal Miners helping a young couple, stranded, whose EV died while out and about. The miners, along with the owner, pushed the car UPHILL to the coal mine where it was plugged in and recharged. The EV owner said miners were extremely friendly and willing to help in a moment's notice. Afterwards, it was noted, the couple left with a "Friends of Coal" license plate presented by the miners.....the irony here is priceless. WV Miners doing what they do best, providing America's energy.

Cheers everyone, remember turn your thermostat up to 78-80 after 1600 hrs to save electricity

I love the irony of this photograph. I'm sure their friendly. The folks with the EV car are their customers.

Nice, staging your own reality....

An EV doesn't have a gearbox, so no neutral. It is shear impossible to push it forward, let alone UPHILL, with empty batteries. You aren't allowed to tow it either (Apart from one specific brand Pickup)

This is how f**e news is being made. No fact checking....

F**e News? My Own Reality? Shear Impossible? Lordy, got any more adjectives you can use? Sorry, this was on the national news, interviewed and reported and oh, btw, "EVs are difficult to move without any charge in the battery, but you can still push them. EVs don't feature a standard t***smission, but you can shift most into "neutral" when the main battery is out of energy because the power for this action comes from a separate 12-volt battery." Sorry to quote JD POWER AUTOMOTIVE....maybe you should do your research before responding to 'f**e news, lololol

PS, maybe they should have gotten an extra long extension cord to run from the mine to the car?

Original post comes from Facebook. (So it must be true...)

See this link

Now, after some investigation:

Picture one: road where they push leads from west to east. Sun nearly in the west, on it's way to set (long shadows).
Picture two: Shows EV car charging after pushing. Sun much higher in the sky (shorter shadows) although it's later in the day as charging comes after pushing...

I say no more......

Facebook, must be real? Its the only source? I would think you'd have enough sense to research this on your own but I guess I was wrong...try some other sources like this;

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/coal-miners-rescue-dead-electric-vehicle
https://www.theblaze.com/news/coal-miners-push-electric-car-photo

Maybe you shouldn't say anymore but hey, stay with your f**e news story if it fits your agenda...

Uh.....looks like Facebook is the only source, with the Washington Examiner and Blaze quoting the event

(from Facebook) as real.....

That doesn't make them additional/other sources.....

Perhaps YOU should read your own links. Both stories (published on the 4th and 5th of September) refer to the Facebook post from the 2nd of September. Randy Smith (Republican member and coal miner) himself posted it on Facebook. Only after the post it got the attention of TV / National News. Apparently they don't fact check either. You're being fooled big time and you don't even recognize it. Kind of worrying garbage on Facebook is being replicated by National News....

Never mind Haenzel, you live in your world, I'll live in mine because I truly love my carbon footprint....One thing is for sure, My Ford F-250 Diesel, great machine btw, will never, well hardly ever, run out of fuel and if it does, it's only a gas can away from the nearest gas station....Sayonara, be safe Haenzel, turn your thermostat up, I'll keep mine at 72 degrees, 24/7....Cheers

You don't annoy me with your silly remarks. It just confirms who you are...

Take care.
