People Working in Korea early 1980s

These were shot in some towns within about 5 miles of Korea's DMZ. No particular skill in those days. Just snapping pictures of life. Self developed in an Army Arts and Craft shop somewhere.

Very interesting. I was there for 2 years in the mid-70's, but down in Pohang. They were still recovering from the devastation of the war and tensions between N & S remained very high. Made you appreciate what you had back home. Like you, I developed some of my B&W at the Camp Henry labs, but most of the time just a local Pohang shop. Because of poor quality control, my film and slides are showing lots of degradation.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Thanks Mike and you are welcome for the memories. I have several pages of negatives I hope to scan and display some of the better ones.

I know Pohang well. Was never stationed there but been there many times working on equipment at Pohang pier and Camp Mujuk aka MECP.
