Err... My old hunting ground (1075). I lived in the 'Vieux Nice' (foreground). I worked as an electrician when the first apartment buildings were constructed... Man, there were some wild parties in the underground garage at the time.

This was taken from the Mont Boron hill I kind of guess. I find interesting that the 'Marche aux fleurs' is now buildt over. At the time, it was just a canopy. There were good restaurants on the side. A good place to go to in the morning.

Weird. Thanks for making me think about it. Oh, did you try the 'Socca'? If you did, I hope you got the crispy sides, this is just corn but man, it was good in winter. Also, the 'pan-bagna' a sort of sandwich made with a relatively large round bread and filled with basically whatever you wanted... Now I want to go back damn it!

I may have to add it to our trip in the spring, next year...

I hope you meant 1975 and not 1075, otherwise your much older than most on this this site 😂.
It was taken from castle hill just above Hotel Suisse where we stayed.
Marché Aux Fleurs Cours Saleya does have some good restaurants, good time morning, day or night.
We did have Socca, pan bagnat, salad nicoise and my favorite, moules frites!
If you do go in the spring I can give a list of restaurants we tried.
An awesome way to see the surrounding area is Nice-Cars http://www.nice-car.fr/ . A lot of fun and great for shutterbugs that want to pull over and shoot pics.

1975... I thought I corrected it.

I lived in Nice for almost a year... No one knew about 'moules-frites' then.
