Alaska Cruise - Eagles

You cannot go to Alaska and come home without eagle shots. Although it seemed that every other light pole in Juneau had its own eagle, I resolved to get "real" eagle shots. That's when I found out that the "good" shots came from a rocking zodiac at a distance. I must acknowledge that Sony cameras and lenses that let me get these shots in tough conditions.

The eagle in the first two shots looks bedraggled because it is raining. The two eagles in the last four shots were a long distance away, but my 200-600 with a 1.4tc did the job.

Great shots Mike. Reminds me of the time I visited Alaska during spawning season and saw hundreds of eagles in the trees watching for the red salmon travelling upriver. Spectacular place, for sure.
