I really enjoy using my Nikon D700, not only for personal use, but in the field as a photo correspondent for our local newspaper. I rarely shoot above ISO 800. I just feel more comfortable in the 200-800 range. Last night I was assigned to cover the last "Family Fun Night" of the season. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the town of Valdese, NC host free live concerts for the locals to relax and enjoy bands with Classic Rock, Beach, Country...whatever. Last night was approached with trepidation. The shortening days, an overcast sky, did not appear promising. I reluctantly setc my ISO to auto, 200-2000. Well, the little "outdated" camera pulled through quite nicely. I am impressed!
I am not.
Gallery, please.
There's nothing outdated about it.
Awsome pictures.

Crystal clear, great photo-journalism, I don't see any reason to claim out dated equipment.
Personal note; it would be fun to caption some of the photos with funny things the people could be saying.

Thanks for your input. I see a lot of put downs for "only" 12 MP. I'm happy!
Agreed! If it was the greatest thing since sliced bread in 2008, how could it not be the dependable work horse today? I had a '95 Miata in 2008, and it was one of the best cars I ever owned!
