Luminar Neo and Photos for Mac

Been away, practicing, learning, and having a great time (and sometimes not so much - A7III is awesomely frustrating at times LOL.)
Anyway, I purchased Luminar Neo subscription (partly to support Ukraine but also it's fun to use.)
My normal workflow, is import to Photos and use Neo as an extension. I optimize my photos so the originals are in Icloud.
How can I incorporate using Neo as a standalone into that workflow? Im thinking import/edit in Neo and then export to Photos, but is there a way to get rid of the files in Neo after they are imported to the Photos library?
Hopefully that makes sense...
TIA

You can use Neo as a plug-in. When edit and image one of the choices on the toolbar (far right one if I remember correctly opens the image into a selected plug-in. Edit the image in Neo then save it and it should bring the edited image back to photos. You might want to create a duplicate image first as photos doesn’t support layers so the edit makes its change seemingly permanent so it’s hard to go make changes later.

Thanks, I already use it as an extension but the HDR feature is only in the standalone…I’m looking for info on the standalone workflow going from Neo into Photos…

New issue of MacLife has a short tutorial - take a picture with your phone; don’t pay the ridiculous cover price as I did. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I am not sure this will help but maybe.
I use Neo as a stand alone. I import the images into Pictures, cull, edit and copy the images to Photos.
I am open to other ways to do it but I only want to keep edited images in Photos. I can then delete the images from Pictures.

Thanks! I’m thinking create a folder from
The memory card in Neo, edit, then share to Photos (copy to library) but then have to deal with the source files…I think they stay where they are, can you confirm?

No. You are beyond me. I would contact Neo support. They have been excellent so far.
