Looks like EV's are going to be an even bigger problem as they apparently are throw aways after 10 years or so, no one is going to spend $30K to repair a 10 year old car.

You go California, such i***ts, this is the problem when government decides it knows better than free markets.

Yep, plus the toxic waste and destruction of the environment produced making the batteries.

The power grid needs to be able to handle the demand which will be much greater than it is now and will it ever be able to handle the demand.

Right now CA is limiting charging and power usage .

I actually liked the idea of EVs but this is a deal breaker for me.

There is a new no energy way just discovered to extract hydrogen that is now being worked on to scale it up.

The engine is reused not dumped in a landfill.

That depends upon the tolerances on the engine, just like a ICE for an automobile.

The infrastructure to support the e-car does not yet exist. Further, this onlooker has seen no non-political statement of when the necessary infrastructure will come about.
