Lion portrait session

It was a great trip to Kenya. This was the first day about an hour into our drive. I would call this a portrait session as Mr Lion was happy to pose! I do like tight face shots, so it was a good start. There will be more action and cute shots to come!

This was a mating pair but it was at the end of the courtship and it was a bit lack luster!

I took sooo many photos it will take a long time to process. I'm still liking the B&W and sepia...

Yes, but the lions and cheetah would walk right by the vehicle and a wide angle would have been in order!
