Death is a Dandy

Out of my archives again.

Well, an egret in spring breeding plumage is certainly a dandy, but Death? Imagine you are one of the small fish or other water creatures where this egret is hunting. Yes, certainly an elegant and dandy styled form of death.

Canon 7DII, 100-400L mk2 + 1.4x III @ 420, 1/640 @ f/8, ISO-1000
handheld in open shade under an open clear sky at 3:40PM 1/1/2017 with light with west being to the left

1. B&W reworked from the OOC with my latest apps

2. color version with editing in LR+PS in Jan 2017 for comparison I posted this version back in 2017-the newly edited B&W was for a project on a FB photo group

If my putting the color images paired with the B&W conversions bothers anyone, well you can retire the teacher but (s)he is still a teacher.

Doesn't bother me at all, I like both. Great images.
