My Epson P-3880
printer recently died due to excessive ink spillage. Later found out it’s a design problem 😡. Expensive printer! I’ll Never buy Epson printers again!
Canvas with a special inkjet-receptive coating is available in both sheet and roll form for wide format printers from many suppliers.

I’ve only had issues with Epson when using third party inks, or when NOT using the printer at least weekly for a few prints. In both cases, heads clogged.

Easy Canvass Prints: Used them for 10 years or more. Reasonable and good quality.

I use CanvasPeople.com. They are always running special deals for $0.99 16x20 prints with shipping extra. I have several, I have them frame them (extra cost).
