My family (20 of us) will be going to Disney World in 3 weeks. I don't want to carry a lot of lenses. Which one Canon lens would you recommend to take with my R6?
RF 24-70 f/2.8L
RF 70-200 f/2.8L
RF 24-105 f/4L

Thanks in advance.

Easy 24-105mm.
No brainer.

You got your answer but, in addition, I always pack a fast prime like a 35mm f/1.8 for those low light situations.

Yeah, that's probably the lens I'd go for too. And f/4 is plenty sufficient for outdoor daylight, which is likely what most of the photography will be on the visit.

My first visit to Disney World was in 1973.

I bought my Pentax Spotmatic and a few lenses. The first day I put an 80-200 zoom on the camera...mistake. At the end of the day I turned to my cousin who had his Mamiya Sekor camera with him and said, "Disney World is a wide angle place." The next day I put a 28mm on the camera as I did not have a short zoom in those days.

As such I would use one of your 24mm+ zooms and would agree with the 24-105 for times when you might want a bit more reach.

The only difference between the 24-70 and the 24-105 is half a stop and some weight. If you’re happy with IQ with the 105, great.

Flip1948: there were no short zooms in 1973, at least none that were remotely affordable.

We go to Disney often and I no longer take camera gear except for maybe a travel camera or gopro. But if I were only going once or very infrequently, I would go with the 25-105. I think you will use the wide angle more than the 105. You will be in crowds much of the time so do not expect to get a lot of clear shots like you see in the ads or in print. You will also be walking a LOT. So find a comfortable way to carry your camera and lens for long periods of time. It costs a lot to go to Disney and most people want to spend as much time as possible in the parks so if that is the case, expect to be carrying your gear for up to 8-10 hours. If you do decide to not carry all day, there are usually lockers near the entrances that you can use for a fee. Also, if you plan on riding some of the rides you need to find a way to secure the gear and some of the rides have very limited space to store items.

One of the best photo opportunities at Disney in my opinion is the Steam-punk dragon at Magic Kingdom. It is a huge mechanical-looking dragon in the Disney parade. The BEST place to take a photo of it is on the balcony in the train station at the entrance to Magic Kingdom. This gives you the best angle to take photos and the longest time for a shot. Check it out, but get there early. There are other good opportunities at Animal Kingdom (Safari ride) and Hollywood Studios, especially the Star Wars areas. Also, I worked at Skyliner transportation and there can be some good shots from the gondolas also.

One other tip. If you are going soon, it will be HOT. It is hot in Florida on into NOV and DEC so be prepared. I am in Florida now and it has been in the mid-90s everyday. Rain or thunderstorms are also common. So you may also want rain gear for you and your gear.

The 25-105 will be fine. Include a plastic bag you can stick the camera & lens in. Florida sun showers can be quite intense. A good sun screen is a must. Enjoy your time with the mouse!
