The passageway to the registrar of voters on election day. Corona California. I actually took this image on election day June of 2013.
This Spanish/Moorish style building was in order: a high school, city hall/police station and now a civic center with a few city offices. The other functions all moved on to new more modern buildings around town.
I used NIK Silver Efex Pro 3 and Photoshop and made it a bit gritty to reflect the mood of many election days. I actually prefer the mellow tones of the color image.
Panasonic DMC-ZS6 pocket megazoom (12.1MP) @ 4mm, 1/200 @ f/4, ISO-160
I bought this little camera at Costco in 2010 the latest model in the line is the ZS200K. I have a light weight vest I wear when I go places and this little camera lives in one of the zippered pockets "just in case".

The BW is quite dramatic. I like it. The color version is just another shot of arches.
