Is this about Critical R****t Theory? It wouldn't play for me.
R****m or tribalism has existed sine man first walked the earth.
Instead of just throwing something out there and saying it's going to start a crap storm, give us your thoughts on what she says. Might be more constructive.

I know how this section works finger pointing is the norm.
I knew it was radical and grant it I probably should have stated it.
But participants in the Attic know when I make that statement
its controversial.
I think there are w****s that remain prejudiced against people of color, as some people of color are prejudiced against w****s. But as a broad statement, I do not agree with her. Contrary to her opinion, I think we have come a long way from when I was growing up in the 50's and 60's. Is society as a whole color blind? No, but I think we've come a long way.

Agreed, things are no where near what they were in the 50’s and 60’s
That lady is only a little bit right and in fact I would suggest that at this time in our history there is a much greater focus on black history in our educational system. We all know that there were amazing accomplishments by b****s throughout history, blood typing is just one of many.
Everybody, Black, Brown, Asian, Hispanic, White, we all have a group identity and dare I say some ingrained r****m, but life's lessons for most of us teach us to get past that, not all because there are a couple on this forum that clearly have not learned them, but for most of us we get past that at a pretty young age. I think that the country was doing really well at leaving racial strife behind until the democrats decided that in order to win e******ns they had to stir the pot.

Overall I think you are right.
I'm going to say something that may be somewhat offensive. What do people think? White people basically built this country as we know it. It's an offshoot of English and European culture, as is its education. There is a lot of good and a lot of bad in that history, but it is what it is. We have the greatest Constitution in the world. Many minorities who immigrated here did so with the hope of opportunity. Unfortunately a great number were brought here against their will. Even after they were freed from s***ery, they suffered a great amount of r****m in opportunity which even other minorities did not. Strides have been made to correct that situation and to make the country more inclusive, but you can't just wipe out the historical past. The institutions of the country and even the government itself was built by those white Europeans who founded and built the country. You can't get around it. It is the foundation of this country. Decry it all you like. It's the foundation that must be built upon. Wholesale changing it will not work. Inclusion is the word that works for me. My Dad grew up Italian in Appalachia. He became a coach and teacher. He never viewed w****s or b****s differently. To him, everybody was treated equally. The same was required of everybody. The same opportunities on the field were given to everybody in a time when that was not popular. Inclusion.
