try and make a layer with a little dehaze but you may have to brighten it up 5 -10% because dehaze slight darkens then a few clicks of clarity ( mid range contrast ) , make a soft brush, hardness about 10-12, 15-20% opacity with a flow of 40% or so. Have your original layer on top, your modified below in your layers panel, create a reveal all mask then use your soft brush to make light strokes over the areas you want to bring the changes to. If you do this already, stop here. If not this will give you the controls to make the exact changes only where you want them.

Steve, Thanks for suggestions. I have never used layers but if it can enhance specific corrections/areas of the picture, that sounds good. I obviously have a lot to learn and should start experimenting. I hate to take up too much time on this.
Maybe I'll submit a couple experiments in the discussion topic.
