milky way core in all its glory

I shot this from my back yard. I live in Georgia where the sky is not all that dark and I was getting some heat lightening as well. be interested in how you think that this could be improved either through pp or by a reshoot

Nice shot. The milky way is easy to see right now as long as the sky is not cloudy. I like how you have used colors in the editing process.

This is the wonderment sky of my WW2 Blackout childhood, long gone hidden by haze reflecting city lights.

You did good job for the conditions you were shooting in, nice shot. I don't know what PP application you are using, I use Lightroom. I see 2 anomalies in the form of small light straight lines, I get those also and remove them with the spot removal tool. I would remove those lines for a more pleasing view, one is horizontal to the left of the galactic core and the other is vertical to the right of the core

Very nice shot, I can never get enough of views of the Milky Way.
Bonus, I’m pretty sure that streak on the mid level right side of your pic is the ISS.
