The Tule Bluets (Enallagma carunculatum) is one of my favorite shots this year. (Hope my ID is correct
)
Bull frogs
Too small to eat, to many to shoot or catch.
Doc! Please correct me on any IDs I get wrong. Thanks!

Young Bull frog. They have just arrived for the first time ever & there are hundreds if not thousands in the ponds.

I was being watched.
Great set. I think the frog is saying "Hey Dragon, join me for lunch?"

Thanks. I have watched them. You are right.
Great set, Vic. The dragons better watch out for the frog.

Thanks Ken. Unfortunately there are hundreds of young ones in each pond. Some largemouth bass would be a big help. Those might eat the baby pond turtles, but so do the bull frogs. And I'd rather eat bass than frogs as a bonus.
The frogs won't be big enough for a year or so.
First Vic, I hope your eye surgery is healing well. As for this set - fantastic ! The ID's look good to me for all species. I understand that you may have some overlap in territories out there with madidum and rubicundulum. Those darn I.R.S. ! Great job my friend.
