Catching up with the last couple of weeks.
More to come.
I did something wrong. DDL doesn't work well, but single seems ok.
These shots are really sharp Vic. I've yet to see even one Meadowhawk since moving back to PA. Actually our numbers are way down this season. Very few damsels. I really enjoyed the set my friend.

Thanks Tony! Things have shifted some here too. No where near as many eight-spotted skimmers and I haven't seen any twelve -spotted. Very few Common whitetails. Lots more Widow skimmers this year and the usual abundance of striped meadowhawks. Very few damsels. Normally there are clouds of them ovipositing. I suspect the hundreds of invasive juvenile bull frogs that are sitting on the pond scum everywhere, may be causing their population to decline.
RE: The Striped meadowhawks; Markings are variable and some I've seen have a couple of all brown legs, some all black, and some mixed. Also the abdominal markings are variable. Is this me misidentifying them, natural variation, or changes due to aging? (Them, or maybe me
)
