Looking through the garage, I found my old copy of Photoshop CS3 - disks, book, everything. I wouldn't even consider trying to install it, but it was a surprise to find it. Maybe a "collector" would want it.
Remember when programs came in those nice 8" boxes?

I run CS2 on my Windows XP machine.
I have that too and it's a legal copy, Adobe won't let me run it on my win 7 machine. Hundreds of dollars wasted

It probably still run on a Windows Machine. I use CS6 daily on a Windows 10 Dell Tower.
Jerry. I miss the manual ability to place images for panoramas. Discontinued feature after that version.

I have CS6, too - and LR6.
CS3 was my first version of Photoshop - I thought it was magic.

And you were right. Now, it's gone into witchcraft territory.

CS6 is valuable. I still actively use it for several reasons. I know 3 or 4 people who want it and would pay well for a copy of it.

You better not consider it. Or they will send a cyber swat team to your computers

As far as I know, Adobe’s verification servers stopped authorizing installation some years ago. It had to do with their expired license from another company for certain code they used. I think there is a way around it but it never seemed to work for me. Also, at least on the Mac, it is level of operating system dependent, requires moderately old system.
I still use CS5. It gets along fine with the Epson P800 printer.

I have the CS5 suite, and it won't run on my iMac with Monterey. Next week I'm having Sierra reinstalled as a second OS so I can run the programs. I subscribe to Adobe for PS and LR, but Sierra will allow me to run Indesign, which I was able to use until mid-last year, and which I need for book layouts, so for a once-only couple of hundred bucks I can save a second subscription to Adobe.

Sad to say it would no longer run.
The adobe verification is already offline so upon installation, the software will not register and thus will run only for the trial period.
Shutting down the servers that verify old adobe software meant they are now all obsolete.
If it is installed and still runs, then pray the computer or OS do not cause trouble, because re-installation won't work and users will be forced to apply for the subscription

I ran into that problem with ProShow Gold - the slide-making program.
