This is my final testing of the Sony RX10m4 : 600mm f4 equiv. + 2X Clear Image Zoom = 1200mm equiv. FOV. See my previous postings regarding the RX10m4. Soon, I will gather my thoughts for my complete review ......
1/400, f4, ISO 100, hand held in direct semi-diffuse morning light (perfect light ! ), shot as JPEG (necessary to get CIZ), 35% cropping (more than I wanted ! ) PP in Elements 9, pixel reduced for viewing here.......
Over time, there has been much banter about the use of CIZ here on UHH. I have been using it for many years now on various Sony cameras - but this is the first use for me on the RX10m4. The one down side is you do loose some AF focus area and options.
So, here it is - judge as you will .......as for me, it works for ME, and very SIMPLY. Comments ? - as you will !

Thanks, I do have special brackets that I use - but it also has a very good IS .....(image stabilization)
This camera, being small and light is relatively easy to stabilize by hand ....8-)

About all I can say is wow, I downloaded the image and used Faststone Image Viewer to zoom in and the image holds together fantastically even as you do zoom into the feather detail. I use a Panasonic FZii once in a while which I bought mostly because I like the Panasonic buttons and feature set, once in a while I get great shots out of it the next time out no matter what I try I cant get it to do as I wish, if your photos turn out like this and at that distance then you have a keeper..........Thanks very much for sharing
Nice shot of a handsome duck.
Esquisite in all matters.

A really beautiful shot of a gorgeous specimen 🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎
I'm impressed with that camera. I know someone who uses it and his shots are excellent.
