My Persian Cat

My Persian cat is really a very beautiful kitty although from this photo you could argue otherwise. She had been sleeping and her fur was kind of a mess. Lately, she has really enjoyed getting her fur clipped to a lion cut. I imagine that a lion cut is a lot cooler for her. It's really amazing to see the change in her personality after she comes home from the groomer with shorter hair. She bounces around the house like a 6-month old kitten rather than the 11-year old cat that she is.

Very nice photo of that beautiful kitty!!

Each May I would have the groomer shave down my Golden Retriever and he was always so happy to be rid of all that hair. He would prance around showing off his nice short “do” to everyone he encountered.

Please give kitty hugs and kisses from me!!

Nice. Was this B&W out of the camera, or was it a conversion from color? In the download, the shadows seem to be lighter and the cat blends into the walls somewhat.

Why do Persian cats always look angry?

I believe they tend to look grumpy because of their pug nose. It makes thier face look like it's smashed in.

Good shot! We had an all-white Persian whose favorite activity was climbing into car engines and getting all greasy!
The vet had to trim a lot of his hair off, and boy! If looks could kill! 😾

I can relate. Before this Persian, I also had an all white Persian. She and I were in the living room and I wasn't paying much attention to her but all of a sudden I realized she had disappeared. I happened to look toward the fireplace and noticed she had gotten behind the screen and was walking on the cold black ashes. I have a very light colored carpet. In fact, it's almost white. I was in a panic. I managed to grab her before she walked on the carpet but what was I to do with her at that point. As I recall, I put her into the shower enclosure until I found a groomer that would take her at the last moment. I miss her dearly.
