I hate to throw anything away. These are from my recent trip to Butchart Gardens. I liked the "bones" of the pictures but they had unfixable flaws. So I took a break from editing my good pics and had a little fun. Thanks for looking
Fran

The swirls and greens of the second pic are very eye-catching. Nice textures and contrasts on #1. I always enjoy seeing your creativity, Fran!

Thank you , Linda. Those comments you made were the very reasons I kept the pics, #2 looked "flowy" and the texture drew me to the first one

Thank you , Mike. I really like doing this kind of editing. I think it goes back to having wished I learned to paint

DWU2, I did most of the editing in photoshop.
1st photo- the backgound was full of leaves. I isolated it then "painted" over it with a decreased opacity black. the rest was in Topaz studio2. one of there presets-"chalk". then did some tweaking within that application

2nd Photo- lots of color adjustments in PS, then again to Topaz studio 2, effect is called "acrylic"

3rd photo- much editing in ps to remove debris on lily and then topaz studio 2 and tweaking within the app

Hope this helps

You certainly saved them Fran! #2 is the stand-out - it could be a book illustration or a wallpaper, very lovely.

Fran, you photographed, photo 1, my grandmother bedroom wall paper!!! I saw photo 2 in a tour of an "old west" town, it was used to wallpaper the ceiling of a brothel!!! Photo #3 is pleasant and wholesome.

Keep smiling and working, you are a fun artist.
