Glad the little guy is feeding OK.
Some researchers believe it is caused by a chemical in "Round Up" and other herbacides used to treat crops, including bird seed and both sugar cane and sugar beets. Other reseachers believe it is a virus. A lot of different bird species have the problem.
Humans have keratin in our hair, skin and nails and some believe the problems are now appearing in humans.
