This composite is made up of two handheld Panos. Both the one of the building, and the other of the stack and water tower were made with three shot each.. I had to extend the canvas to accommodate the height of the tower and tank since they were cut off on the building Pano. I used a new sky base for both stacked images, since the original sky was basically white because it was an overcast day.
It was a fun exercise for me to work on. th old lucky strike ad is on the chimney.

The end result is very interesting Frank. The composite is nicely done, just a bit of a problem along the skyline and into the trees, and I’m not quite sure what’s happening with the water tower support in places, but the overall view is great.

I see where I messed up. I redid this Mutiple times. I even walked away from it several time. I was more concerned with making sure the top half of the stack water tower matched up. But it should be an easy fix.

The skyline on the right side is of most concern for me with several bits of residue. But I very much like your result for the overall project and can see why you enjoyed doing it. I am particularly appreciative of your choice of sky: pretty, natural-looking, complimentary instead of screaming "look at me!"

I will take a look at what you are talking about. I already took care of what Dave mentioned. As for the sky I wanted to keep it real. Didn't want to make it obvious that I changed the sky.

Thanks Mike. My eyes were cross after I finished this one.

A perfect example of parallax shift when shooting panos handheld when there are vertical or horizontal lines in the image. A little bit of photoshopping and you can fix it.

The missed items that were pointed out by Dave and Linda have been corrected. What I thought would be a fairly simple composite, actually drove me nuts. Aligning everything up turned my hair gray. Well actually I am exaggerating my hair is already gray.

Hope your gray hair didn’t get much grayer! Very nice shot. I’m envious of a hand-held pano. I’m not usually steady enough for that. I also like the sky selection.

Thanks, I didn't want to go overboard with the sky. As mentioned previously I correct the areas i missed. So far I have been pretty successful doing handheld panos.

Very nicely done Frank. With fixes added it will be wonderful. I hope you plan to do something with it other than consign it to the Completed Project Folder

Very interesting project Frank, and Lucky Strike, that takes me back a few years. I'm not steady enough to hand hold pano's anymore, so congrats on that. Along with previous mentioned fixes, I'd suggest removing dust spots on the right and middle right of your sky, then you're all set with this interesting image. I like your envisioned idea. Bev
