Been out of the loop a couple of years. This is one from 2018, since I may be playing catch up, more older images may surface.

Very engaging portrait, Dave. The use of light and shadow produced a mesmerizing result. Is this from a re-enactment or performance of some sort?

Man, it's sure good to see you

I wondered why this seemed so familiar. It was sung by the Shirelles in 1962.

Thanks Linda, this wasn't a re-enactment per-se, it was a 1940's day at one of the local airports in Cincinnati. Lots of people dressed for the time era, planes, cars etc. I don't get out to photograph much these days, trying to correct that issue thou.

Yes, it was the Shirelles. Sorry, I should have mentioned that. I'm bad for leaving out details.

Dave, I like this, even without the caption. The distant look, focused somewhere other than within the frame of the photograph, inspires one to contemplate what horrors the subject is recollecting.

Thanks Bob, yea the caption was a spur of the moment thought. I felt it fit the image and created a more interesting theme. I agree, either with or without caption would be fine.
