I have a Canon 5D mark IV

I think I put it in wrong setting when I go and Take a picture on the side of the pictures it show like a light in it going black and white flashing. does anybody know what is going on? I was changing some setting but the pictures come out okay. don't like it flashing I like to see how the pictures look like PLEASE HELP ME ON THIS SO I DO"T SEE THE FLASHING

Those are the "bald highlight" warnings.

They can be enabled by a menu setting. Seems you did so unintentionally. Some users assign a custom button to switch them on and off.

This is a 5D III. 5D IV should be similar.

I wanted to give you the answer but someone beat me to it. I love the 5D Mark IV too. Some friends said the R3 is a “better bang for the buck.” I am overall ecstatic with my 5D. Since you are new to this camera, download your camera manual onto your phone. It is very easy. When you have a moment you can brush up on a chapter of the manual. Also,you can pick up a copy of PhotoBert’s cheat sheets. They are available for most cameras and fit nicely into your camera bag.

Am I going to have to come out there and have a 1:1? There's a lot of Canon's most advanced / newest technology in the R3, but the sensor is a step-down in resolution (30 down to 24M). It would be pretty silly to walk away from Canon's final top DSLR, and then for a camera twice the cost but less total pixels.
