Her Constituents sent her to Washington to represent their best interests, somewhere along the line, their interests took a back seat to her personal interests, so the Constituents decided they would give her more personal time to pursue her interests and they would find another more interested in their's.

On another note, I read something this morning where the writer's opinion was that Pelosi ultimately planned Cheney's demise, while at the same time creating turmoil in the Repub party thanks to her placing Cheney on the 1*6 commish. They opinioned that Cheney was beginning to have too much power and influence in the House, as well as political power in the Party, and Pelosi wasn't going to have that, so she fixed it. Interesting thought.

All of it because that is not what she was doing. The democrats have revived support for Trump that he would otherwise not have. You people don't know when to stop and this fiasco that is going on in the congress is a one sided s**t show that has garnered support for Trump that he previously lost. Cheney did not have to support Trump, but she should have called out the democrats for the one sided debacle that is the current made for TV unAmerican prosecution of a former president.

The only people mourning her defeat other than the democrats are: Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, and United Technologies.

Cheney is a butt-hurt, harpy. I'd love to hear your predictions of the damage she'll do if Trump runs. Wishful thinking, I predict. You can't lose your home state by over 20 points and get any national traction no matter how many anti-Trumpers you have dumping money into your campaign. Those Dems have to save a bit for the home team after all.

Just remember this: There are at least a half-dozen republican candidates that would do really well in 2024 if Trump doesn't run, while the Democrats are praying that Biden won't run and Harris gets run over. If Harris gets assassinated, it will be a Dem operative pulling the trigger.
