Woodland Photography….Is It Just Trying To Make Trees Look Interesting?

I have been watching videos on Woodland Photography. As some here are aware almost all of my posts this year were taken around a small lake and nature path near our new home in Georgia. The challenge is to find something new or different that someone including myself would care about.

I took these yesterday afternoon using a Nikon 35/1.8 on a Nikon D7500.

#3 is my favorite for the lighting. I think your goal was worthwhile and your results attractive.

There are two birds in that photo. The problem with tree photos is that they are TALL and I don't like vertical framing. You've done pretty well here with the verticals, better than I do for sure. Really like #3!

Good catch! I use an iPad for final editing and just found the 2nd bird on the right edge. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

A lovely set ...I like all of them, dean... you were up to the challenge...Georgia's a beautiful state.

I like #4 (with bird). Usually it's good to have a foreground subject.
