Would be good to do a shot across the bay on front of the statue and the front of the statue.
Reminds me of Indian lore and their feelings about nature etc.
Shot is full of historical meaning.
Another gorgeous photo. You seem to have an eye for them. The only criticism I might make here--and it's more of a suggestion than a criticism--would be to clone out the boathouse that appears to be attached to the statue's right arm, as it interferes with the otherwise sharp, clean lines.
Beautiful shot, but IMHO it cries out for much more depth of field, since the boats and bay are clearly part of the composition. But they are out of focus. I am FAR from a good photographer, but it seems that a much smaller aperture would have been the way to go here. What do others think?
I shot this with both a wide open apeture and a closed one. In the end I liked the blurred bay as the indian stood out more and she was sharper with the open apeture. I appreciate the feedback though.
I agree with the clone but I couldn't do it succesfully as it was to close to her arm without it being noticeable. Maybe it would be easier in photoshop but I use lightroom and impossible. Thank you for your comment.
